St. Patrick's day began early in our house. Lydia was up and dressed and pulling up on our living room chair and looking at her reflection in the window. I couldn't resist snapping a picture and trying to convince everyone that she was looking for leprechauns!

Then it was on to the zoo to meet up with Nancy and the kids from daycare. The hat was meant to be a gag, I thought it was too funny and, again, I couldn't resist! The amazing thing was, Lydia never fussed about having it on, so it stayed on for a large part of the zoo. Eventually the hat did come off, and the sun came out, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful day at the zoo.
